Finally, the long awaited release of SP1 for Windows Vista is here! First of all, if you haven’t automatically downloaded the update, you can grab a copy here.

You should be automatically prompted to download the update when Windows Vista starts on your computer. Early comments on the long awaited service pack claim faster speed, improved interaction with computer, and other bug fixes. Many people may remember how the first service pack for Windows XP dramatically affected the performance of the operating system, and prompted many people to finally make the big switch from Windows 98. Perhaps now that this new update has finally been released, there will be a positive response from a public wary of giving up XP to venture into the unknown with Windows Vista.
